Yes, I’d rather snogg than blog; so sue me!
But I’m going to try to do both. I am going to become a blogger. You can thank the Utah Transit Authority for this. I have so many bazaar experiences every day because of them that I just have to share it with the world. I also have been pretty bad at keeping a journal so this is my attempt.
This past weekend we went to Rexburg for Husband’s cousin’s wedding. It was extremely freezing up there. We had fun watching the temperature gauge on our car go down the farther north we traveled. We were so busy talking that we didn’t see the exit sign for Rexburg and ended up in Dubois! Dubois! Yeah….I had never heard of that place either, but we knew we had gone too far. By the way don’t get all fancy and try to pronounce Dubois in a French style. It’s Idaho after all. They pronounce the ‘S’.
We then made a U-turn and for the next 20 minutes we were going 90+ mph. Good thing Husband is such a good driver. Also, it was a good thing we were in Idaho and if we had happened to veer off the road we would have a nice pasture to slow us down in all directions. After a few prayers and the forgetting of the marriage license by the groom we made it there just in time!
Sister-In-Law and I just before the wedding luncheon where I ate my weight in mashed potatoes! yum!
