The semester is over. I’m a little shocked that I survived. Not the classes, but the schedule. Back and forth the hour long travel route, as well as the crazy early work days and late school nights. It was rough. I am absolutely relived it is over. Despite the SNOW on my first day of summer I have done one thing on my list of summer 2011 goals. I have started to read Emma. So far I really love it. Okay I only was able to read the first two chapters, but not because I’ve given up, just because my schedule hasn’t completely slowed down. Sure our gas budget is finally normal, but I’ve done a few extra side projects lately. And loved every minute of it.
Easter came and went, it was also happened to be on Mom’s birthday this year. We had a pretty busy weekend because 2 days before that was Little Brother’s birthday. Mom probably thought we had forgotten about her, but right after church we sent her on a scavenger hunt that proved otherwise.
Oh and Little Brother got a hamster. Last we heard his name was Gizmo, but it changed at least 53,525 times while we were there that weekend so who knows what his name is today. We’ve had a cat for about 6 years now and we just call her Cat or Kitty…our family has a naming problem.
Oh yeah, and we saw The Submarines. This was our second time seeing them the first time was a super special time in our lives and so this was like the anniversary of ….that.
